Skillz if you know of a mod that's good for it, feel free to slam it in. I just never played anything but straight up. I think the only mod I ever played that was ok was the jail switch locator thing.

I dont like regular weapons.

I used to run a JB server back in the day called Skillz Death Kamp.

It had the Release Switch Indicator, Wrong Jail and NoJailKill JB mutators running. I also had a custom arena assault rifle running. Not the regular weapons. I also think I ran a mutator called JailPeace too, since it was requested I think. It's been a while.

For about a year, it was the most popular JB server during it's time. I used BT to help promote the server.

Ran BT/JB for the first couple months, the BT players would get on and play JB if there was just a few players, then once enough people joined, they'd vote the JB maps and start playing JB until the traffic started to die back down, then they'd go back to BT.

I ran both for about 4 or 5 months, then I just took off BT because people just stopped playing BT.

This was back when I ran www.skillzservers.com and had about 4 gaming servers under the "Skillz Death Kamp" name along side the planetmonsterhunt server I hosted back in the day (only one)

I've thought about bringing the server back, that's what the PMH Server #2 was running.

BT/JB Assault then CTF 155/55 LGI, then DM 155/55 in big maps, and now it's pmh server #2.

I've been watching the server browser and JB just isn't getting much pub traffic. Might be nice to have a part-time votable thing like you said but I don't think the player base is there for a full time server. I thought it might be fun to play a few rounds in but it's had no traffic at all today. That's a shame, JB is a lot of fun.

JB hasn't been popular for years. I had the only JB server running back then. Which spawned off another JB server, but after I shut mine down the other one soon followed.

About JailBreak servers, a few Strangelove servers run JB as an option in mapvote. Usually the servers are a combo of CTF, JB and BR. (CTF is the main focus, though.)

I'd be interested in more JailBreak servers, I enjoy it off and on. (SLV, normal weapons, anything.)

problem is nobody else will join cause its empty so theres no players to start it off meaning nobody follows so its hard to start off a populated server for JB these days...
