I was able to find the old Mapping Guide that TimmyPowerGamer put together for us a while back.

http://www.planetmonsterhunt.com/mappin ... Guide.html

I will go in and format it later...

I think yours is covering more of the "basics" of UnrealEd. This guide assumes you know your way around, so it's not a "beginner" tutorial. More of a "guide" to help someone who already knows how to map.

its also horridly outdated and incomplete

If anyone would like to add to it or update it, by all means. I feel bad that I never got around to finishing it (among other things, like TMH  )

I wouldn't say outdated, not much has changed with Monster Hunt. TMH is pretty solid as well, just needs more maps.

Yea I didn't think about the bot support, I never play against bots anyway. So it easily slipped my mind.

Incidentally, Bot friendly maps are also harder online, as Bots actually use modified Monster Pathing AI, so if you make a really good path network, the monsters will follow you all over...
Also, just path like you would an assault map, HOWEVER, there is an issue when ordering bots... Give the Freelance Order. If you give the Attack order they just run in place like idiots
